Since childhood, I've had the opportunity to travel from Wa to Accra during holidays to visit family.

The scenic views from the 14-hour journey during those times make me wonder if that's where my passion for exploration was born or if it was the first time I realised there's more to Ghana than just Accra.

​

The first content I created for TravelBites Ghana was in July 2019 titled Legon Botanical Garden, Accra | Places to Visit in #Ghana. This video ignited my passion to create more, share memories, and let people know about these destinations.

The first major trip I embarked on for TravelBites Ghana was in 2021, exploring the Northern & Savannah Regions.

It wasn't until December 2022, after graduating from university and starting my national service, that I saved up and extensively traveled across Ghana.

 

TravelBites Ghana has always been there, but it's now my dream.

WHY THIS BLOG?

​

I started this blog to showcase all the amazing places in Ghana that you might not be aware of, proving there's more to our country than just Accra. Most of the content here focuses on must-visit places, but about 20% is all about good places to eat —hence, the "Bites" in our name.
