The TravelBites Ghana Story
As a child, I travelled from Wa to Accra almost every holiday to visit family. That 14-hour journey showed me the beauty of Ghana—miles of changing landscapes, each more captivating than the last. Looking back, I wonder if that’s where my love for travel really began. It was on those long trips that I realised there’s so much more to Ghana than just Accra.
In July 2019, I decided to create my first piece of content for what would later become TravelBites Ghana. It was a video about Legon Botanical Gardens, and little did I know, it would ignite a spark in me. I felt the urge to share more, to explore more, and to let people know about the amazing destinations our country has to offer.
By 2021, I was ready to take things up a notch. My first big trip for TravelBites Ghana was a tour through the Northern and Savannah Regions, experiencing Ghana’s rich culture and stunning landscapes. But it was in December 2022, after I had graduated from university and started my national service, that I saved up and travelled even more extensively across the country.
That’s when TravelBites Ghana truly became my dream. I created this platform to show you that Ghana has so much to offer, far beyond what most people know. Whether it’s hidden places to visit or the best spots to grab a bite to eat, my goal is to share these experiences with you and help you discover the beauty of Ghana in new ways.
So, why TravelBites Ghana? Because I believe there’s always something new to explore, and I want to be the one to guide you there. This isn’t just a blog—it’s an invitation to see Ghana through my eyes.
