Here's an in-depth review of my recent visit to this unique bar.
In case you didn’t know, daiquiris are a classic cocktail made with liquor, fruit juice, and a sweetener. Originating from Cuba but finding life in Louisiana, daiquiris have evolved over the years, now available in a myriad of flavors that cater to diverse palates and now has landed in Ghana. 957 Daiquiri Bar capitalizes on this versatility, offering an impressive range of daiquiri flavors that set it apart from other bars in the area.
957 Daiquiri Bar combines the Louisiana spirit with Ghana rich culture. Showcasing a relaxing modern chic design. This venue features both outdoor and indoor seating areas, providing a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere.
While it may not be a high-end, aesthetically focused restaurant, its minimalist decor is appealing in its simplicity.
The Daiquiris
Daiquiri Shots: These were the highlight of our visit, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. The shots are a great way to sample multiple flavors in one sitting.
Strawberry Daiquiri: Refreshing and fruity, the strawberry daiquiri scored an 8/10. It's a crowd-pleaser with its balanced sweetness.
Passion Mint Daiquiri: This flavor was a favorite for its unique blend of passion fruit and mint. We collectively rated it a 10/10.
Dirty Passion: A more complex flavor profile, the Dirty Passion received a 7/10. It’s an acquired taste but worth trying.
Ice Cream: Creamy and delightful, the ice cream was rated 8/10. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a dessert-like drink.
Note that most of the daiquiris and drinks have a bit of alcohol but you can opt for the non-alcoholic flavours.
The Food
Lemon Pepper Wings: These wings were a standout, with the perfect blend of citrus and spice, earning a 10/10.
Creamy Avocado Chicken Wrap: The wrap was flavorful and filling. We rated it 7.5/10.
Fries: Crisp and well salted, the fries were a perfect side, deserving a 10/10.
Sweet Chili Wings: These wings offered a nice balance of sweetness and heat, scoring an 8.5/10.Although it was very spicy for my taste buds, my friend enjoyed it.
Red Red Spring Rolls: The highlight of our meal, these spring rolls were filled with beans and fried plantain, offering a unique twist on a classic dish. They were undoubtedly a 10/10.

“I loved the service at 957 daiquiri bar!!! The people were very welcoming and prompt. The food was great, very very extraordinary, my taste buds had a field day!!my fav would have to be the lemon pepper wings ! It tasted completely different from what we have on the streets of Accra. The avocado sauce that came with the wrap and fries was so organic and so tasty. The daiquiri was everything!!!! You’d forget there’s alcohol in there and might end up finishing 3 glasses”, my friend’s review.
