Looking for a rooftop and indoor restaurant in East Legon? Look no further!
I've frequented this spot more than three times, mainly because it's conveniently within walking distance from my workplace.
Here's all the gist for you.
The Hayvin, a restaurant and bar in East Legon, sits just opposite the A and C Mall on the last floor of The EVITA building.
It's an ideal choice for either brunch or dinner, offering both indoor and outdoor/rooftop seating areas. The rooftop exudes summer vibes with private cabanas available, while the indoor area emanates a chic, modern, and dim-light dinner vibe – aesthetically pleasing in both settings.
The Hayvin's menu boasts a variety of dishes, with must-try items including the crunchy "Spring Rolls" filled with either beef or vegetables and my personal favorite, the virgin mojito. Don't miss out on the "Creamy Mashed Potatoes."
On regular days, The Hayvin operates from Tuesdays to Sundays, opening at 2 pm till late. However, during December, it's a 24/7 affair from 12 pm till late! Keep an eye out for their weekly events; you're sure to find a day that suits your needs, especially during the December lineup of activities on their Instagram page.
During my visits in February, April, and July 2023, the staff at The Hayvin were consistently friendly and helpful. You're greeted upon exiting the elevator, and they continually check if you need anything. The wait time for drinks and starters was impressively under 30 minutes.
My overall experience, including both self-funded and sponsored visits, at The Hayvin Restaurant was excellent, earning it an 8/10 rating, with the ambiance scoring a solid 9/10. Note that the menu tends to be on the pricier side, with an estimated cost starting from Ghc 300 per person for food and drinks.
